I agree, I think game of the year will likely go to Destiny but I know how much sway a FPS has in the market so I wouldn't be surprised if TF did take home a GOTY. I prefer the concept of Destiny out the two but we will just have to see how it plays out.
I have no doubt what so ever that TF won't do extremely well though.

Destiny, Arkham Knight, Halo, Sniper V3 and Wolfenstien The New Order to name a few, yes, exciting times for a gamer.

I think the last 20 or so years have been an exciting time to be a gamer. If you've been gaming long enough like I have, it's amazing to think how far it's come. From my first console the great Atari 2600. I had one of the earliest graphics cards in a pc,
the great 3DFX Voodoo Banshee. All the way till now the gaming frontier has always been very exciting to me. It been fun to watch it all change over the years. From the dominance of simulator and strategy games, to the current dominance of FPS and open world
rpg games. It's exciting times indeed. The start of another era so to speak. And at 37 years old. I feel like a kid at Christmas. Ready to open that next present.

i forgot about the witcher and MGS. and to the OP who said about other platforms i didnt include them because this is a xbox forums plus as fare as i know there is only 2-4 exclusives coming for that plus the games i mentioned

I've decided that instead of working on completion I'm gonna go backwards and try to have the biggest backlog and the most games started. This year alone has the potential to boost me waaaay up in that endeavor.

Its a great time to be a gamer and although i really liked titanfall it is definitely not going to be the game of the year (in my opinion)

That accolade, from what Ive seen so far, will easily go to The Division or Destiny but i hope to be surprised by some other titles.
