Evolved Delayed

Well, looks like I'm waiting till next yr for a new system.

 

Show me a game that's going to be available on time and I'll be more surprised

 

^^Shadows of Mordor was pushed up so...be surprised.

Is the beta delayed as well?

If the game needs another 4 months of work, better to suck it up now, rather than release a broken game and try to patch it up later as they go. Gamers tend to get angry about that kind of thing, I've read.

Also, not having to fight with a dozen other high-profile games all launching in the same week will work out for the best, I reckon. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of other titles were wishing the field was spread out a little more evenly, too.

 

Funny thing is if that 2/10/15 date holds up it's still releasing around other titles as well. Isn't Dying Light, Batman and a few other games releasing around that same month?

 

The Witcher releases in February. And I expect that and Batman to just trounce everything released in that time frame.

 

Oh wow, I actually thought this was already coming in 2015, much like I did with Batman. Plenty to keep me occupied this year anyway!

 

I wonder if it is a content problem, isn't it just 3 sets of characters, and 3 monsters? Maybe they decided it wasn't enough to justify charging full price.

 

If the beta starts this fall,it might be more usefull for devs that just a stress test.....
