I just heard about this game for next gen recently. I saw the trailer and I gotta say, it looks like it could be really awesome!

Forget games like Titanfall and Destiny. This could be the reason I even get an Xbox One.

I hate Gabe Newell's guts. That fact prevents from forming any kind of excitement for Valve games. Pretty cool looking trailer, though.

 

Uh Valve has nothing to do with this game.

 

I could have sworn I saw in the trailer on Xbox Home "From the makers of Left 4 Dead"

 

Yes, but they split off from Valve to become independent again. This title has no association with Valve and 2K is the Publisher.

 

Nah, it's not Valve who's making it Sword. Yeah, it says from the creators of L4D but the lead developers from Valve that made Left 4 Dead left and formed Turtle Rock Studios. They're the ones making it. Also, why the hate for Gabe Newell? I honestly didn't
know who he was until I googled him lol. I suck at keeping up with gaming news.

Some info about the game.

From Turtle Rock Studios, creators of Left 4 Dead, comes Evolve, the next generation of multiplayer shooters where four Hunters face off against a single, player-controlled Monster in adrenaline-pumping 4v1 matches. Play as the Monster to use
savage abilities and an animalistic sense to kill your human enemies, or choose one of four Hunter classes (Trapper, Support, Assault, and Medic) and team up to take down the beast on the planet Shear, where flora and fauna act as an adversary to man and monster
alike. Level up to unlock new Hunter or Monster characters as well as upgrades, skins, and perks. Earn your infamy on the leaderboards and become the apex predator.

It's also using the Cryengine so that should be sweet. And like Pyramid said, 2K is publishing it.

Yes this game might be awesome. Especially since there is supposed to be different characters per classes with different weapons and different monsters to choose from. A big departure from simple palette swap characters like L4D.

Nobody tell this guy what game engine "Titanfall" is running on.

Evolve looks like it could be good fun so I hope it turns out that way.

Wow...this was the first i heard about this game and it looks pretty sweet.

 

This is going to be sweet for sure!

 

Looking forward to this game as well. The trailer looks awesome. Cannot wait for the game to come out.

 

It's gonna be awesomesauce fo'sho! There will defo be some mega op no life tryhard who plays as the Goliath only and rapes all the hunters lol. But then there will also be the noob hunters and noob Goliaths too. Anyway, that should be fun. If I can save
enough this year, I can get an X1 by Christmas and this game by then as well. It says it comes out in Fall so there's plenty of time to wait still.

 

This is one of the few games that makes me want a next gen console.
