Evolution of minecraft

Okay for starters, minecraft is a great game...evolved from indie status to superdom and boy has it heralded a liking from all across the board and I too fell into that bandwagon and have enjoyed it's humble beginnings on the PC. It deserves it too as it
is a valuable commodity to the gaming industry, involving a genre that was lacking and now filled it well.

Now microsoft has come along and acquired the right...thankfully I say!!

Here is my opinion on what it's evultion should be like...take it or leave it.

1 - campaign, story or adventure questing...whatever u wanna call it. "Inject it, impliment it, and install it in magnitude!" There needs to be an ever evolving campaign with expansions. PERIOD!!

2 - Graphics fine tuning....JUST A LITTLE TWEEKING!! What makes minecraft special is it's blocky atari grahpics , but there could be a little bit better resolution that would help make characters and monsters appear more distinct. I think by making th eoverall
giant pixels into half the size they are now it would enable better detailed interesting foes and still retain that retro feel and look.

3 - Equipment.....more, A LOT MORE equipment and items and devices. Of course this includes increased crafting options and resources. We need axes, polearms, glaives, hammers and maces to fight and ward off enemies. Then rune stones or crystals....Ooops
there we GOI "CRYSTALS" as the new resources and items of minecraft. the crystal caverns, crystal halls, crystal spiders,.....oh my that's it! Gems also, we can't forget gems in minecraft..".now we have a clear and concise picture!"

A world with multiple dimensional connection like the NETHER that enable free roaming expansive same tight reesponsive controlls of a game chocked full of exciting, grinding, pillaging, digging, fighting, loving, protecting and adventure.

MINECRAFT the adventures of the immortals.

"Why have you come adventure?"

Was it for glory and treasure?

Or was it to forge a new alliance with a new brandished set of tools of your discovered trade?

Or maybe you just wanted to party or feel good?

No i think not! I believe you are destined to find fate entwined within all those and much, much more as your last days were futile and spent in self discovery...now your eyes are unfurled to what awaits in the depths and beyond!

"Go forth mining adventurer and dig out the fate of what befalls you however it sees fit.... it will NOT be easy as it once was!!!" POOF the ghost vanishes from sight as you emerge from a dark crevice that you fell through into a bright and more beautiful
waterfall filled oasis and what appears things that creep, crawl, and gestate for blood, food, and satiating their hunger.

Undead, demons, brutish vile animals, veracious plantlife and chaotic wild people and their arcane constructs unfold before your vision.in the crystal amplifier the ghost led you to(a view finder of such)hat also allows you to see a few villages, large towns
and underdark realms where no sane being should delve.....the last showing is of a great battle in the deeps between the HOLDERS and the VILE ONES that are trying to escape. THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN or all is lost.

That's enough explanation on what I think the new improved and evolved minecraft should be.

In all of my years posting in this forum, I've never seen anyone from MS actually post in a general forum. So, it is highly doubtful that they are reading this.

While MS purchased the rights to Minecraft, Mojang are still the developers of the game. So, if any of your implementations are going to be put in, you would need to get their attention.

Lastly, while a totally separate game, Telltale Games has been making a Minecraft Story episodic game. You should look into that.
