Everytime when I want to redeem a gift card code a message appears saying `Unexpected error.´

I sometimes get the issue where it gives me an error when trying to redeem a gift card. And when i reenter the code it says redeemed already.

Is it similar to what you are experiencing?

After the redeemed already message i login on the website and check my order history. Shows it was redeemed on my account then.

Yes. I bought a Xbox live gold card from Walgreens. When I redeemed it I clicked on the ad that was advertising the $15 gift card if I signed up today. When I clicked on it there was a redeem code option. I clicked redeem code and redeemed it. After I did
that a message popped up saying that I would receive the code for the $15 gift card within a month, and it's been almost 2 months and I never got it.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues redeeming a code that came with your Seagate external storage. For us to isolate your issue, please provide the error message that you received when redeeming your code.

In addition, check for typos to make sure you entered all information accurately and as it appears on your gift card. Typos are the most common reason for code errors, and the following characters aren’t accepted: A, E, I, O, U, L, S, 0, 1, and 5.

Try again in an hour or two to rule out a temporary server outage.

If the card says that it's not activated, return it to the store that you purchased it from and ask their customer service to activate the card.
