Everything turned green first 2005 build

I currently am struggling with the same thing.

Today I turned my Xbox on for the first time in between 1 and 3 months. My Xbox turned on and everything was normal. Then it asked for an update. That’s when everything messed up.

After the update it restarted as normal with the Green loading screen. Then it went to black, and I haven’t seen anything else except the menu

“Turn Off Controller, Turn off Console, Restart Xbox”

I’ve done everything I could find, including a factory reset.

All because of a Microsoft Update.

So sweet though. Green on the top reminds me of the launch team special 360 back in 2005. EBay at some point perhaps, but retail probably never. :'(

i turned mine off accidently during the green screen , an then turned it back on and everything went fine .. downloading 2k14 right now

Got the first Xbox console in 2005.

[/quote] The 360's release date was announced early September 2005 and it was released in the US on November 22nd. Microsoft have plenty of time to make an announcement, also if rumours are to be believed, the Xbox One is going to be worth the wait.

And they rushed the 360 out also, we all now how that worked out for them
