Everything "taking to long to load"

Literally nothing on my xbox is working. I was playing fine until about 2 hours ago when I turned off my xbox to eat dinner, and now everything is giving me the "taking to long to load" message. Literally everything. Home was "taking to long to load" until
I unplugged my xbox, now I can load home and all my games, apps, settings, and even signing in is "taking to long to load." Nothing has happened since last time I used it, no power outage or anything like that, I see no reason why it just suddenly stopped
working. I have reset the console and unplugged it multiple times and nothing is changing. Bought the console at launch and have had no problems with it since then.

Error. Certain items are "taking too long to load"

Having problems loading Netflix, checking achievements, loading friend list, etc. Simply it doesn't load these selections and boots me back to the home menu saying it took too long to load try again later. Anyone else getting this? People can still join
my games but I can't do much else.

Hi there, I'm new here. A couple of hours ago, I tried to play the binding of Isaac rebirth. When I got on, I noticed everything was glitchy and slow, so I went to dashboard. I then couldn't get past the splash screen for when you first start up a game.
I hard reset my Xbox one and I got into the game, but not very far. I called support and long story short, they told me to come here and ask the preview program members with the new dashboard to help me(BTW we figured it is because I have the new dashboard).
I also can't launch any other games and get past the splash screen and YouTube is very slow. Any help would be appreciated. If this is not the right place to put this, again this is my first time here.

Have you cleared cache by holding the PWR Button in front of the console for 10 seconds. Then turning it back ON?

Also Are you using an external HDD for your games and apps? If yes it could be the hard drive failing.

For your profile try re-downloading your profile.

 

Hello, in most of the instances where this occurs a factory reset it required. Be aware that you will need to know your wireless network password if required and the emails/passwords for any and all accounts you want to add back to the Xbox after the reset.

Be sure to select this option.

Reset and keep my games & apps

If for some reason the settings tab won't open then there is another way to do the reset.

Remove any disc that is in the drive and power the Xbox off.

Press and hold the bind button ( the button you use to sync a controller ) and the eject button.

Hit the power button on the Xbox once, the Xbox will power on, keep bind and eject held and a troubleshooting screen will open up. You can then let go of the buttons.

On that screen select the Reset option and again choose the option to keep your games and apps. After the reset you will need to perform the initial setup again, connecting to a network, adding accounts etc.

 

Usually a hard reset will do the trick for you. Just as posted above hold down the xbox power button for about 10 seconds then power it on again. This does the trick for me when the interface is running very sluggish. Hope this helps. Cheers!
