    Hello, about 2 years ago my microsoft account got hacked. I was mainly using it to play minecraft, but i lost that too. When i opened a ticket, the support system was very weird and unintuitive, but the team managed to free my email, but nothing related to it (the account itself and my minecraft account). So i had a new (i think) account that was like a fresh new one with my old email. I tried my best to get back minecraft, through tickets and support but to no avail. Ever since, though, even with the new account, every time i try to sign in to my desktop microsoft related apps( family, store, xbox app etc.) i get an error message, as shown to the file attached. This was annoying, but since i wasn't using microsoft too much, i just ignored it, but now i want to get into the pc game pass related stuff, and i can't, due to the same issue. I would like some info on what is causing that issue, how to deal with it, and if its possible to regain my minecraft access (i have the related receipt if needed).

    Thank you. Please try the following steps and see if they resolve the issue.

    1. Open the Settings app (the gear icon in the Start menu).

    2. Go to Accounts.

    3. Select Sign-in Options.

    4. Scroll down to the Privacy section.

    5. Uncheck the box for "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update or restart."

    6. Restart your PC.

    Continue with these steps if that still doesn't resolve the issue.

    > Check if there are any corrupt files on Windows by following these steps:

    1. Right-click on the Start button and select Windows PowerShell (Admin)

    2. Type the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each:

    - sfc /scannow

    - Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    - Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    3. The DISM tool will indicate whether the image is healthy, repairable, or non-repairable. If the image is repairable, you can fix it by using the `/RestoreHealth` argument:

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    > It’s possible that some update files are corrupted. Clearing the folder where Windows stores update files will force it to download fresh files. Here's how to reset the Windows Update components:

    1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit OK to open the Windows services.

    2. Scroll down and locate Windows Update Service.

    3. Right-click on it and select Stop.

    4. Repeat the same steps for BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) and SysMain (formerly known as Superfetch).

    5. Navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download.

    6. Delete all contents inside the Download folder (but not the folder itself). Press CTRL + A to select everything, then press Delete.

    7. Go back to Windows services and restart Windows Update and BITS.

    8. Reboot your PC and try updating again.

    > Reinstall the Microsoft Store.

    1-Right click on Start.

    2-Click on Windows PowerShell(admin)

    3-Type:

    Get-AppXPackage -allusers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} and press ENTER.

    4-Reboot your pc and try open the Microsoft Store.
