Everything on the Xbox says it's taking too long.

At least one a day for the past month or so, I havent been able to play games, use apps or even go the the Xbox settings. I gone through all of the Xbox troubleshooting steps and the only thing that work was the factory reset. But even now im im having
to do that every single time i try to play a game or launch an app. It works for maybe 2 hours or so then it'll just crash. I don't have money to buy a new one and since it was the original release version, it is no longer under warranty. I really want to
keep this thing working until Series X comes out. Is there any help you guys can send my way, any help is appreciated.

Hi,

How do you have your console plugged in to the mains supply? Is it directly into the wall or via a power strip? If it's via a power strip, is it surge protected. Faulty power strips and surge protectors can cause issues with the Xbox One console. Also power
strips that are overloaded will also cause issues with your console.

If your console is connected directly to the mains (with nothing in-between) and you've checked your external storage is working and hard or factory resets have made no difference, I'm afraid you're console is likely faulty.

That does help sometimes, but like with the reset whatever im doing will crash after a bit

Try power cycling your console if it happens again.

you can do this by holding down it’s powerbutton for 10 secs
