Everything on my XO "taking too long". No controller pairing. Boot's back to ...

Hi folks,

I'm hoping someone can help me. My XO (about a week ago) has developed a couple of faults.

1. It wont connect to any Controllers wirelessly, and on the rare occassions it does, it disconnects after about 45 seconds or so. I can only use the controller if I hardwire it, and even then the XO response to button presses or GUI navigation is slow to
   non-existent. Although after some testing, I get about 3mins of hard wired uninterrupted controls for about 2 1/2mins, so as long as I'm quick I can get things done.
   
2. Every app/game I attempt to start (especially Settings, recently) just hangs, then I get a black screen with some seemingly obscure error code saying: "[APP NAME] took too long to start" - And I get booted back to the dash board.
   

I've tried all the recommended 'fixes' - Cold reboot. Unplug everything and leave it 30 seconds. Ensure all my controllers batteries/battery packs are fully charged. But nothing helped.

Last night I gave up the ghost and performed a Factory Reset, hoping it would fix the issues, but alas no, I'm still seeing the same issues.

Can anyone help? I'm almost out of warranty too, think I've got a few days left. But don't know who to contact or where to contact them.

Everything "taking to long to load"

Literally nothing on my xbox is working. I was playing fine until about 2 hours ago when I turned off my xbox to eat dinner, and now everything is giving me the "taking to long to load" message. Literally everything. Home was "taking to long to load" until
I unplugged my xbox, now I can load home and all my games, apps, settings, and even signing in is "taking to long to load." Nothing has happened since last time I used it, no power outage or anything like that, I see no reason why it just suddenly stopped
working. I have reset the console and unplugged it multiple times and nothing is changing. Bought the console at launch and have had no problems with it since then.

Hi,

Have you cleared cache by holding the PWR Button in front of the console for 10 seconds. Then turning it back ON?

Also Are you using an external HDD for your games and apps? If yes it could be the hard drive failing.

For your profile try re-downloading your profile.

Does it get better after factory reset at all before downloading your profile and re-installing apps? Have you removed any accessories you have plugged in there? If it's bad out the gate and you've removed everything then your Xbox may need service. Go to
the Service page and request a repair of your Xbox.
