    Everything deleted...


    Shortly after the disruption for 2 hours xbox live was having, it kicked me off again and froze. When I restarted my xbox it said there was an update. After waiting an hour for the update, it turned off then back on. I tried logging in but ALL MY MEMORY
    WAS DELETED FROM MY MEMORY UNIT!! My games, my saved games, my apps, my profiles, my avatar accessories,.etc. Really... what is going on xbox?

    Hey there Wildgreen1.

    Really sorry to hear about your save data! Unfortunately if it was deleted there wouldn't be an option to access it again unless you moved it to the cloud. Odd that this occurred after an update, if it continues to happen it may be an issue with your storage
    device. Keep us in the loop.

    Xbox deleted everything

    I was playing a game and the xbox just shut off. When I restarted it, all the profiles were gone. I turned it off and on a few times to see if they would come back but nothing ever came back. When I tried to play my game it told me to create a new profile
    or download my profile. I downloaded my profile. Then I tried to play the game and it said it needed an update, so I allowed the update. When it updated it somehow deleted everything off of the flash drive that I had plugged in to the console. Is there
    someway to get the saved games back and the profiles back that weren't Live accounts?

    I have an Xbox One now but for the answer, it wasn't helpful. I lost my saved games as well. As in Single player story mode games that aren't re-downloadable. Being a high level like 68, in a game like Skyrim, is hard to redo.

    Unfortunately, you can't get your data back. This usually happens when your storage device is on the tinkering point of failure and needs to be replaced.
