Everyone's offline..?

This is because there are bugs on the Xbox Live servers, I think Xbox is already working on a solution.
Verify that your console is up to date.
You verify it by entering the configuration part of your console, go to the System> Console information> Check for recent update section.

No, this issue started happening way before the error on live status showed up. I want to say this started happening a week or two- maybe a month ago.

Okay, so I, and one of my friends have been encountering a bug, or some loading cycle (idk) with our friends list when everyone of my friends is suddenly offline; even ones I consistently see online didn't show up until a few seconds later when everyone
was suddenly appearing back online. I don't know when this started, or the first time I remember experiencing this.

To put this in perspective, let me give you the following scenario: You turn on your Xbox or PC, and you press the xbox button on your controller to open your guide, or you press the Window start key+G on the keyboard to pull up what I'm gonna call the "PC
Xbox Interface" (of course, provided thanks to your installed Xbox Companion App). Suddenly, you go to your friends tab and see 1 to maybe 7, 10, 25 people online for a few seconds. After said seconds, everyone starts to pop back up online on your friends
list.

If you understand what I'm saying- great! This is what I was experiencing when I turn my Xbox on. IDK why this is happening, or if this is a bug, or an intended loading sequence. I'm just posting this so someone can see what's up with the friends list RN.

My first reaction to this was "Oh wow, not many people are online today". Then people started coming in, and I was confused.

So I ask the question:

Was this intended? Or is this a bug.

Can someone let me know please?

I don't have the perfect answer on the technical side of it, but this does happen.

My theory is that sometimes different sessions on multiple devices can give you a false positive. So the issue is that something in the backend may have got confused. But like I said its really hard to say.
