Everyone lags on game

Is it just me that thinks the faster your internet the worse your gaming is, I get 225meg down 25meg up one minute there is someone there to shoot next they are the other side of the map leaving me dead, all ports open fast ping until I get on Microsoft
servers if they are slowing my internet down because some in the lobby have crap internet then they are punishing me for having a fast internet, they ban people for cheating perhaps they should look at themselves, it really is so annoying I pay the same as
anyone else apart from my internet so they can cheat me out of a decent game. P.S. what is one of them a decent game?.

More Cheating/Lag Switching. Will this Ever get sorted?

Not all lag is lag switching. Now that everyone has wireless networks lag can be from others in the house hold logging on doing things that eat up bandwidth. Plus lag compensation is still a big issue in the game.

 

How's the lag on this game?

Crappy internet equals lag in this game. Its not like Gears of War where everyone lags!!!

 

Sorry to hear you're having trouble in matches. The issue is not with your internet nor your connection to Xbox Live. The issue lies with other players lagging their connection out in order to give themselves an upper hand in multiplayer matches.

The best way to fight this is to report the players via the dashboard reporting tools. Go to their bio and select File Complaint then follow the instructions provided. The PET will investigate the complaint and take any necessary action.
