Everyone is muted in COD: Modern Warfare (only for the xbox)

I received a 24 hour Xbox Live enforcement order on the 14th of April.

Since then I have been unable to un-mute ANYONE on Modern Warfare.

However if I switch on the Cross-play option, then I can talk to PC and PS4 players.

Party chat works fine, which indicates that it is a possible issue with the game side of it all. I have been in contact with Activision, with no response as of yet.

I have tried the following to solve this issue with no positive results:

Uninstalled and re-installed my profile onto my Xbox One X

Disable and enabled voice chat in MW settings. Also set the minimum threshold to the lowest it can go.

Tried different headset.

Checked my privacy settings on the actual console. Showing as I can talk to Everyone

Plus various other methods, all with the same result.

Obviously I don't want to uninstall the game, as it's now over 100gb!!!

So can anyone please recommend what to do.

I’d start off by resetting the xbox by holding the power button for ten seconds then remove the power cord from the back and wait a good 5 min, and if that doesnt work then it might suck but you may have to delete the game and re-download it

I like Halloween and Christmas events. Playing Modern Warfare at the moment but don't know if COD does anything for Christmas?? Have a good one everyone!

There is a problem with game chat on Modern Warfare at the moment, What i did to get it to work was to mute them in your game lobby then un-mute them. This only works if you have friends who have joined your game.

Battlefield when I'm in the mood. I've only really every played one COD and that was Modern Warfare.
