    i no happy by update every bored wait long 30 minutes, i talk stop update fix every day too much suck....

    they fed up update change every why downpoad long bored...

    unfair ps4 start install fast play quick, why xbox one slow install too much big size wait bored time 2 Hours suck.

    i hate wait long update not play waste time no good xboxmone crap. i think xbox one problem slow update time every stop,

    xbox one stop update now wait fix check test after 3 months only, i hate update lots time change every bit ch....

    From the outside looking in (as I'm not a preview member), may I humbly suggest that if you don't want these daily updates you should pull out of the program? As for whether or not these updates are mandatory, I guess we should wait and see whether any other
    preview members have got the same prob?

    Every day an update

    Preview member since 360 days. My xbox one goes through an update every morning that lasts about 40 minutes. I'm wondering is this what's supposed to happen or am I having issues?

    erm...............I simply have nothing to say to this other than if you like the PS4's way of having updates, why not sell your Xbox One and get a PS4.

    Oh by the way, don't come crying back here when you update the PS4 and its causes problems,

    literally loved how smashed you'd have to be to type like that (im aware OP may be foreign and English isnt their first language before anyone says it - its just funnier to think of it my way!)

    My XB1 updates, seem to be just as fast as my PS4 updates if not faster, and I have a pretty basic internet connection. I've also downloaded 3-4 large games, including BF4 and 3-4 other DLC in only about a day or so on my XB1, which is pretty good in my
    eyes.

    Get Fibre Optic Broadband. Downloading at ADSL speeds is slow. Fibre Optic should enable you to download Updates at super fast speeds.

    I agree updates for Xbox and on your PC can get annoying. AVG wants an update. Adobe flash wants an update. Windows wants an update. There's even an update for my smartphone and our homes broadband modem. Fibre Broadband will help get it over and downloaded
    quickly. Get VDSL if you can otherwise, VDSL is roughly up to 3x faster downloading and up to 9x faster at uploading. Uploads at ADSL speeds for me is like 0.9mb/s and download around 8mb/s. That uploading speed is almost as bad as dial-up.

    Something peps with an Xbox 1 need to get use to is larger update sizes. This is because of the extra graphics and texture details which go into Xbox 1 games which may help the games to perform and look better or adding things to a game.
