Every time try to sign into the PC minecraft i get error code 0x89235107.

this has happened just recently, 2 days ago, and before that it worked perfectly.

after contacting support i was told i needed to download 2 apps i already have (xbox app and console companion), and then after contacting again i was told the exact same thing even though i specified that i had already done this. i have signed out of everything and relogged, made sure i have all dependencies, cleared caches, made sure all services are running, reset the minecraft, xbox, and companion apps, as well as restarting my pc many times. im really getting annoyed about this so if anyone can help me i would very greatly appreciate it.

Sorry to hear about that. Let's see what we can do about that here.

I would suggest to uninstall your Microsoft Edge browser, restart PC, and install it back again.

Press the Windows key +R

Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Restart your PC.

Minecraft Launcher still does not authenticate. Couldn't sign into xbox live error code 0x89235107.

Turns out I was able to download and install Minecraft Windows Edition through the xbox app (xbox app now has me signed in). However, attempting to sign in to microsoft through Minecraft for Windows produces error code 0x8007000e after trying to authenticate through a menu item that finally prompted me for authentication.
