    XBox One loses wifi connection

Every time I turn off the Xbox One console, I lose wifi connection. Only way to restore is to unplug power from console.

Had to reset Xbox 4 times, need help.

    Hey there,

When you say you have to reset your Xbox One console, are you performing a
Factory Restore on your Xbox One console
or a power cycle (by holding the power button down for 10 seconds)? If you haven't tried the factory restore, we recommend giving that a shot. Additionally, have you tried the steps on our

    Startup Error Solution
when the green screen issue occurs?

    Keep us posted!

Every time power on xbox console - Restore Backup screen

    Hi there,

just to be sure, is your console set to Instant-On or Energy safe mode?

Depending on how you switch off power when in Instant-On it might cause issues. If you mean that you disconnect the console from power when your console is set to Instant-On (it basically is in sleep mode) the console doesn't turn off nicely.

If you disconnect the console from power, I would advise using the Energy safe mode.

If the console is set to Energy safe mode or you just mean that you just turn the console off then please try the following.

When you have console set to Instant-On and you don't disconnect it from power please try the following

    1. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

      http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console
When the console is set to Energy safe mode, please try the following

    1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
    2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Thank you WPAK for your reply, I am using the power safe mode to switch off my console, and i have already tried the method you suggested, unplug the power cable and hold the power button for 30 seconds ( haven't try 60 seconds, but i assume it will be the
same), and do a factory default restore. And when i swift it off using the controller / power button in front (power off), note: i did not unplug my cable... The next day i power on my console, it go back to the troubleshoot screen, if i choose "continue"
, my screen will be blank and black. So the only thing i can choose is go back to restore to default, and it is keep looping every time i switch on my console.. so it is not acting probably..

Just question to follow, does it has a battery in the main board inside the xbox? if it does it is because the battery run out?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

I'm not sure if there is a battery, but since it violates warranty when opening up the console I doubt one is present or that it could cause this.

Since the console keeps looping to the troubleshooting screen I suggest you contacting Xbox Support to see if they have any other suggestions to try.

I assume that since you already tried a factory reset they will advise a repair/replacement of the console.

Xbox Series S feels very slow, audio lagging in menus and games are slow

Did you restore from a backup? Because I have problems after I restored from a backup, but then I factory reset the console and it was fine after that.

I am having the exact same problem. Same game. MS should have backups and be able to restore to a point in time like every other corporation. Beyond frustrated.
