Every time I start my Xbox series x, I have to reset the wireless module.

I was afraid that it may be a hardware or a startup issue.

I live in a moderately populated area with a lot of wi-fi networks around, and if I go into the "Setup a wireless network" setting, the list is empty and can't find any networks, mine or others.

How I eventually get it connected:

If I try to "Add a network by SSID", I get a security protocol message instantly and repeatedly.

Eventually, I'll get a network status of "not connected".

I go into "Setup a wireless network", the list is still empty.

I click "Add a network by SSID", type "yyyy" (not my network name btw), where I get an error that allows me to reset my network hardware.

I say Yes, a few seconds later I get the "All good" message.

Now its connected to the internet, and if I go into "Setup a wireless network", it finds a bunch of wi-fi signals.

And its only been a recent issue, the last week or so, and I've had the xbox for several months.

Hi there. I have tried almost every possible method of restarting, resetting and everything inbetween. Ports are forwarded, etc.

The thing is, I have my Xbox One and Series X set up beside each other. Due to the Series X’s problems, I can switch off my Series X, and switch on my Xbox One, and have no connection issues.

Both playing on the same wifi, both wireless connection, with all the same settings (except the Series X is running on 120fps).

Something is not right with the Series X and I believe it’s more than just needing to reset my MAC address...
