Every time I login in my gamertag I need to enter my password

This just started after I had installed windows 10 on my computer. Now, every time I turn on my Xbox, it says It can't log me in and I have to do it manually. Every time I have to manually enter my password. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have been using an automatic login system for Xbox every time I start it up, i then stopped this system and changed it to a manual login whereby you have to select what Gamertag to use once you have turned on the Xbox, now it asks me to enter the Live ID
for the gamertag and the password which i have no clue, i cant even access 'my acount' as i have to enter the ID and password to even play offline!

I need help as i cant play using my Gamertag i have had for years now!

I am unable to login to my Microsoft account on my Xbox one or on my mobile device. Every time I enter my password on microsoft live it takes me to the "enter your email screen" and does not log me in. When i try to login through my Xbox live account it
never recognizes after I enter my password. I have factory reset the Xbox and cycled the internet multiple times. Any help would be amazing!

 

You can set it to log in automatically for you when you turn on your xbox. Just follow the steps here:

support.xbox.com/.../change-signin-preferences

That's the problem. I have it set to instant sign in. When it tries to sign me in, it says sorry that it can't and I have to enter my password manually. All the settings are correct, they just don't work like they did before.

 

Just wondering if anyone has any idea how to fix this. it's annoying to log in to my live account every time i turn my Xbox one.

 

Hey mate,

I'd trying deleting the profile entirely from your xbox, then re-adding it. That should fix it up
