Every single time I open up the Minecraft Launcher it automatically begins to update taking...

   • Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your Windows 10 device:

     2. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
        
     3. Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers
        
     4. Wait for the process to finish.
        
4. Restart and disable all antivirus, antimalware, VPN, proxy, firewall and PC Optimizer.
   
5. Sign into the Microsoft Store and please update the Xbox apps and Minecraft Launcher by following this guide: Get updates for apps and games in Microsoft Store. Then, launch Minecraft Launcher.

1. No, the issue is not happening on another game titled.

2. I have tried to install it from both the Microsoft store and the official Minecraft website.

3. Yes, I installed mods for the game. It's possible that the mod launcher I use, Curseforge and Fabric are the root of the issue.

4. A day or two ago I had gotten back into Minecraft... or tried to until the issue came up.

5. Before this the game worked fine, it may be because I switched to the mod known as Fabric but I'm not so sure about that.

Thanks for the update.

Sorry for the late response. We appreciate you have performed our suggested troubleshooting. We noticed that you are trying to play Minecraft with mods. Do you mind checking if you can play Minecraft without mods? Will the game launches?

There is a possibility that playing a game with mods will only work on a certain version and edition of the game. Those the environment will not change and might not need to be updated. Thus, this information is provided by the mods creator and if the mods they created would work on newer versions of the game's edition. With that being said, they may release an update to their mods regularly and you should be reporting to them (mods creator) about any discrepancy on their mods.

To simplify the explanation, the regular set up of Minecraft should work without mods. There are mods that will only work on specific game version and mostly they provide this version. In that matter, if the game will not work with mods then you need to report this to the creator of the mod for fix.

Modding can be complex and may cause your game to malfunction or not be playable. As modding is not officially supported, Minecraft Support cannot assist with issues arising from mod usage. - Based on this support article: Mods for Minecraft: Java Edition – Home

From the login screen, please make sure you click on the box at the bottom that says "Remember me" so that it will automatically sign you in when you open the launcher.

If that doesn't work, please try to uninstall and reinstall the launcher and check if that sorts out the issue.
