Every Game freezes up on start-No Error message

So I got Witcher III yesterday and played a little bit. This morning I tried starting it up and it froze at the startup screen saying Please Wait. I did a hard reboot and tried again and it still did the same thing. I have since tried Minecraft, Pool nation,
Shadows of Mordor with the same result. Somewhere in the initial start screen it just sits forever. I was able to get a DVD to play. The Xbox One is the most expensive Blu Ray player I have seen!

The only solution I can think of is to return the whole thing and get a PlayStation!

Non stop issues since i installed the update

I installed the new summer update yesterday.. Since then i;ve experienced nothing but issues. My xbox will freeze every 2 mins...Keep getting error message "for some reason .... took too long to start.". Games will not start. Screen goes black after a little
while...after this and the disc drive no longer working I'm getting kind of fed up with xbox..any help with how i can delete then reinstall this update would be appreciated... but I'm also not sure if my xbox won't freeze while trying to uninstall the update
so not sure if that will work.

 

Xbox One Kinect no longer works and my games either freeze or no sound after update

Everything was working perfectly fine yesterday. This is outrageous just when the Titanfall beta started.

Kinect works fine at start up, recognizes me and signs me in then all of a sudden it resets itself and no longer works then keeps resetting itself every 5 minutes.

Dead Rising freezes when I start campaign

CoD Ghosts no sound, freeze when I start a match

Killer Instinct no sound, freeze when I start a match

Titanfall Beta no sound, matches do start

And every other demo freezes as well.

 

I had the same problem yesterday with The Witcher III and I also could not get any of my downloaded games to run, but Destiny ran fine. Any help with this matter would be very appreciated.

This issue is usually fixed with a hard reset. To do that with the Xbox on, hold the power button down for 10 seconds. After that the console will quickly shut down. After that power it back up and see if your games work. If you've already done that, try
uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I've posted a link below to do that. If you're still not working, then reset your console to factory and try again. As long as you've stayed connected to the internet all your saves and settings should be saved in the
cloud.

This is not fixed with a hard reset, i am also beset with no Xbox beyond the startup green screen, post Witcher 3. How am i to factory reset in this situation. Help would be appreciated.

 

It fixed mine, but is this going to be an ongoing issue or is it rare? I'd hate to have to do this every time I play something.

So you shouldn't have to do it that often. Basically when you use instant turn on, you're not ever shutting your Xbox off completely and just putting it to sleep. So it's not very common.
