    Even though it's not Preview anymore, I still get updates


    Good afternoon, I was a preview member a few years ago and due to several problems between the updates I decided to leave the Preview program.

    To my surprise I received 2 updates in less than 2 weeks plus one email from the Xbox Insider saying I could test a game to give feedback.

    As I am no longer an insider member, I contacted xbox Live support in Brazil and they informed me to my surprise that I am part of the preview program yet. I requested my immediate withdrawal plus the attendant informed that it is not possible and he sent
    me an email giving more information on how to leave the program.

    In this email you ask to download the Xbox Insider Hub app through the Xbox One Store and go into settings and unregister the console from the program.

    To my surprise my console is not listed so I'm totally without options, since the support in Brazil says that unfortunately can not do any action and that only the xbox forum could help me.

    I kindly ask that you remove my user from the list of Xbox Insider Hub, ID XBOX LIVE: in order to solve this problem immediately.

    You are definitely on the latest update released to general audience and not in the Insider program at this time. You simply got the latest updates, which were pushed out incredibly close to each other.

    You will see another update come out this week, and that's normal. Expect us to go back to monthly updates for a bit, just to set your expectations.

    Please let me know if you have any other concerns with the Insider program! I'll do my best to help out. :)

    Hey there, MARTINEZRJ!

    I'm sorry to see any frustrations, however I can confirm that your console is not in the Insider Program. Additionally, we have had two major updates pushed out to general users in the past two weeks, and this could be what you are experiencing.

    To confirm, can you please post back with the operating system your console is on? You can get that by going to Settings > All settings > System > Console info. The information I'm looking for is the OS version, including
    everything in the parentheses. If you would prefer, you can take a picture of the screen with a phone or camera to post here for me to see. I'll be able to confirm if you simply got the latest update or if you are on a later update when you shouldn't be. :)
