Even tech support can not navigate the overly complex password/code "loop".

So even after talking to a live support person, I still can not log into my account on the game console. I have run the codes, changed passwords 5 times, typed in 6 codes and it still tells me that my password will not work. The support tech did everything
he could think of including deleting the profile. Now I can not sign in to re-download my profile. It just keeps telling me to go to the website to get a code and then when I get the code it tells me everything is fine lets me log into this site...but wont
let me log into the xbox. I want the stuff I just ordered. Is this some microsoft scam? Is there anyway to actually play the xbox. We have had it for a couple of years but now with this security crap, I can no longer access my profile on the console.
Anyone else run into this? Is there a solution?

Becoming a video game designer

I had several programming classes in college. You would be surprised at the amount of code needed for even a simple interactive program. I vaguely remember things like endless loops and if/then statements. It's been awhile! I can only imagine how much coding would be involved in a complex video game.

Sorry to hear about the odd log-in issue. Do you happen to have two-step verification turned on for your account? I would start by turning it off if it is on. To check, visit the
Microsoft Account Proofs page and sign in with your Xbox Live account. The option should be towards the middle of the page.

If two-step verification is turned on, try turning it off and then try signing into your console!
