First, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and then check if you can see the order from there stated as "completed". Once confirmed, check your profile online and go to https://account.xbox.com/profile.

Once confirmed that there were no changes go to https://social.xbox.com/changegamertag to change it again, you should not be charge again.

Just enter the gamertag you used to change it. You don't have to pay for it if you already paid it.

Hello, I have the same issue. A couple days ago I changed my Xbox user but to no avail. The money used went through. It has been 2 days since then and my user still hasn't changed.

After purchasing the product it stated "Something went wrong. Try your gamertag again". yet money was still withdrawn.

I have signed in and out and checked my order history. It has appeared completed but my gamertag is still yet to change.

See the bottom left part of the page and make sure that the page has the correct region that you are in (ex: United States - English for USA)

If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.

Check and confirm that you are within the available time of support under Contact times.

Click Contact us

Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

On the page, see the provided support articles that may help you with your concern. Click See contact options if further assistance is needed.

On the next page, select either Chat online or Request a call option then follow or enter the needed details.
