    Greetings everyone, I'm new around here, so basically I have question, i was using euros gift cards since i bought my xvox one, and last night i changed my xbox religion from France to United States in order to use dollars instead, my question is..will I face any redeeming problems when i buy a dollars gift card? I really dont want to waste my cash, when I try to redeem the code will it work normal as it used to work when my xbox religion was France?

    If you're not actually in the US, you should not change your region to the US. You may be able to redeem the codes, but depending on what you buy, you may be unable to due to region mismatches. Your region should only be set to the region you are located in.

    And currency cannot be transfered between regions

    You shouldn't be playing with your money like this

    Unless you arenr in an xbox live region you should use your actual region

    And xbox 360 games are mostly region locked so if you try and redeem games with gold 360 games it won't work

    And bypassing the marketplace locks to get a better deal can violate the rules

    When my Xbox religion was France I wasn't even in France and I had no issues at all but i have no idea about US, I'm still not sure if changing it to the US was a good idea....

    499 euro is 676 dollars. Yeah, that's fair. When they take your US dollars they are getting 499. When they take our 499 euro and put it in the bank, they're getting much more.

    Am considering buying the Xbox One here in France, but I want my games in English (UK or US). I don't care if they charge me the FR prices in EU, I just want to play games in their original languages.
