European Power Supply

You can't just buy a German power supply for the original xbox one from the USA as that will literally make the console explode.

The xbox one S has a universal power supply for 110v 60hz AND 220v 50hz so you just need a plug adapter for that to work but the regular xbox one will need a transformer.

For the xbox one original you will need a power converter from 110v 60hz to 220v 50hz. Some adapters only do the voltage and not the frequency (50hz/60hz) so make sure you get the right one.

So for the xbox one S you only need a plug converter but you will need a power converter for the xbox one original.

Remembering that you need to have your console registered in your devices, if dont have, in that page you can add.

You could try to find an official Microsoft European power supply for your 360 to replace the US one or get a step down power transformer to convert European power voltage to the lower US one your PSU unit is expecting to receive.

So to make sure, I should buy a new power supply unit for the Xbox that was made for European outlets ? And plugging one of those European psu won't damage my console either ?
