Euro Fishing issue (dashboarding)

Hi,

I have been directed here by a member of the support team to get help resolving the following issue:-

I purchased/downloaded a digital copy of Euro Fishing a couple of days ago and have yet been able to play it as it dashboards about 30 seconds into loading it up. All other games are playable except this one.

I have followed steps from the xbox/microsoft support team but still not resolved. (Steps include Re-installing the game, clearing the cache, rebooting the xbox one and internet connection).

I am frustrated that i cannot get help with this issue as i should be able to play something i have payed for.

Hopefully, someone here has the answer.

2 things stick out like a sore thumb as you start this game.

Firstly, you cannot invert the Y axis. If it's the way you like great... if it's not, then it's frustrating but not game breaking but it does seem a huge oversight for a 21st Century game.

Secondly this game makes ZERO use of controller vibration. This is very poor since the classic games that made Fishing a viable genre always took advantage of this feature, the Rumble Pack in "Zelda: Ocarina of Time" the Rumble Rod in "Sega Bass Fishing".
To completely ignore this feature in a fishing game seems ridiculous and crazy.

But get past these unfortunately very glaring flaws and the game is a fun fishing game.

It's a little different than your "Sega Bass" or "Rappalla" series that came before it in that you aren't using spinning lures that you pull through the water trying to attract a bite.

Instead you put the right bait on the right bottom (reeds, gravel, silt) and wait for a bite.

You take your character out to a spot and set up to 3 rods and wait for bites.

Being a pro you have "line sensors" that let you know when a rod's got a bite and you real that one in.

The fishing is still alright fun despite the lack of vibration but it's a bit weird and sometimes even chaotic when 2 or all 3 of your rods suddenly get bites at the same time.

It's early in the game but there appear to be an extensive amount of lures, rods, reels, hooks and baits to unlock to expand your tackle box.

Best fishing game on the XBox ONE because it's the only fishing game on the Xbox ONE.

Pretty looking but will probably easily be topped by whatever company can be bothered to make something that makes the controller vibrate.

 

I am also having a major issue with this game, although mine is that my profile never gets saved. So every time I start the game I have to create a new character, only for that one to disappear as soon as I stop playing.
