    EU Power cord


    Hello, I bought my Xbox One from the US but I intend to use it in the EU. I'm getting my power brick replaced by Microsoft to a suitable one but as I understand the replacement does not come with a power cord (the cord that connects the brick to the power
    outlet). Does any one know if I can purchase a suitable power cord online? I tried a few google and ebay searches but all the listings are for the entire power brick which I don't need. Thanks

    Where to buy Power cord for Xbox One S

    The Xbox One S uses the IEC 60320 standard power cord that many other devices use.

    In this case, it uses the C7 connector: IEC 60320 - Wikipedia

    You might have a cord like that lying around in the house. Otherwise, you can find a cord from just about any online marketplace (except Microsoft's own store, ironically).     While I don't know if it'll work or not, I'd suggest contacting Xbox support (online chat or phone) and see if they can hook you up with an official cord. Never hurts to ask!

    Just wonder if you can help me? I have bought a Xbox One S in USA when i was on vacation and I'm back home in EU Sweden.

    So i wonder is there a way to buy a EU power cord because i can't use the USA one?

    I'm not sure about getting one part without the other, but remember that different countries in the EU have different power socket types. Make sure you get the right plug type for the country you will be using the Xbox One in.

    The power supply is C7 in north america. EU should have a corresponding cord. The brick is universal.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for clarity on getting a new power cord. You should be able to purchase this accessory through any certified reseller of Xbox products including gaming stores and the like but you might want to check on their site. The
    Xbox One X and S have the same kind of power supply so if you find one of those you should be good.

    I think if it is the same pkug and it pass the same amount of electricity you are set, I never tried that so do it at your own risk.
