Ethernet connection has 0mbps upload all of a sudden

When I run a speedtest my download speed is the same as it's always been, but my upload shows 0mbps or something very close like 0.02mbps. This started happening randomly with no changes. I can surf the internet slowly but can't connect to any online games.

I've tried running a different ethernet cable, and doing a clean boot but neither made any change. Other devices have normal upload speed on the same network.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I am having the exact same problem! My Xbox was connecting fine to the internet yesterday but all of the sudden its not working! My Ethernet is connect to my laptop and i have tried everything i could..

I’m having the same issue my Xbox series s all of a sudden it doesn’t connect to the network while it’s wired I checked the Ethernet cable and it works fine with other consoles so it’s not the Ethernet cable I don’t know what to do anymore

So far its working now took console offline and all of a sudden it started to download.Am guessing once done i connect my Ethernet back up and then the update will install

What has happened so far is before my Xbox couldnt connect me to live. Even though my ethernet was plugged in, it couldnt test my connection. I theorized it was the port itself so I had my friend bring over his xbox. Turns out it was the wire. Then after
a while I decided to turn it on again to play a game then all of a sudden it did connect to live. I didnt question it or wanna mess with it so I just went on to playin with my friends. During the middle of a game I was playin all of a sudden it disconnects
me from live saying that me ethernet was not plugged in when live was working like a couple of minutes ago. So I dont know if its the wire or not. And Anything that has to do with testing my connection is out of the question since it wont allow me to. I appreciate
any/all the feedback you guys have given me.
