Ethernet cable connection to xbox

I’ve tried plugging my ethernet cable into my xbox before and it has worked and not too long ago it has stopped working for my xbox but it isnt the cable that is broken because i have checked it on my pc, i have tried the troubleshooting suggestions so
far like unplugging the modem and restarting my xbox but i need some further help on what i can do next

Are you using a wired connection? If your Xbox says the ethernet cable is not connected, have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the ethernet cable?

A connection via an Ethernet cable is more stable than a wireless connection. This is because an Ethernet cable provides a direct connection between your Xbox and your router.

No but you can connect it via Ethernet cable with a cross over cable or with standard Ethernet cables with a router or Ethernet switch. The other way is connect it to your wifi.

Try switching the port on your router

Try a factory reset on the console, make sure you keep your games and apps.

Shone a flashlight and make sure you havr no corosion ot li t in the eyhernet port sounds weird but it does happen. You teally got to look cause just sticking your pinky in there isnt a real help. Of you find some corosion discharge all power and clean.
If its jusy lint get a rubber or plasyic pick bot a metal one and get it all out. Thats where i would start if i knew the cable was good and getting signal on other devices.
