    can I use a eternet cord from the xbox to direct tv cable box?

    If I hook my xbox live to my flat screen (it has a service and hdmi slot) can I put chrome or firestick to it and xbox will play?

    Xbox live isn't working

    I have it working but having problem with the Eternet cord not connected properly with a click on back of my xbox 360 and my modem.

    Eternet from xbox to direct tv?

    The ethernet cord is only used for connecting to Internet, and I highly doubt your Direct TV cable box functions as a router, if anything. If you plugged the Xbox into the DirectTV box, you'll likely just get an error.

    Not really sure what you're asking about Chrome/Fire Stick. Those devices are designed to connect directly to the TV's HDMI port and you tell it to stream online content with a smartphone usually.

    Terrible service. I have contacted direct tv and xbox. Direct TV confirmed xbox was having server issues and would be resolved soon. That was over an hour ago. No reply from xbox support. I will expect some kind of credit for missing entire week.

    I believe it will work with both. It does not replace you tv reciever. You will need to run the HDMI from the direct TV reciever to the XBOX . The XBOX is just a passthrough,
