    ESPN App: Commercials interrupting programming


    Noticed a problem with the ESPN app this week. The commercials are coming in during the middle of the shows and are randomly interrupting them. This is on top of the regular commercials.

    It wasn't doing this a few weeks ago. Very annoying.

    ESPN App not in full HD + Commercials interrupting programming

    The ESPN app has been having issues lately. Commercials run longer than they should, thus interrupting points in which broadcasts actually come back from commercial breaks on TV.

    Also, it seems like the app is back to having issues with streaming in HD; worse video quality than how things were before. Can't be my connection since it's 80 Mpbs down & 35 Mbps up.

    ESPN app switching to ESPN 2, ESPN U, etc. during commercial break

    Watching monday night football on the ESPN app for the Xbox One. Every time there is a commercial break, the ESPN app will automatically switch ESPN2, and won't return to ESPN after the commerical break is over. Anyone else having this problem? It's pretty
    annoying having to switch back and forth during every commercial break.

    I'm experiencing the same thing. It's cutting off commentary and ruining the experience.

    I'm sorry to see any issues with advertisements interrupting your game! We haven't seen any other reports of this yet. If you haven't already, please uninstall and reinstall the app. Let me know if this helps you out!

    New ESPN app works ony with game controller?

    I'm pretty sure ESPN Or Microsoft will be releasing a new Update for that issue soon... Or the App is currently not programmed properly with the ESPN App ..

    Microsoft will provide more TV-like advertisements through XBox Live.

    I dont see the problem, take ESPN for example, currently when Im watching a game and there is a commercial break... I have to stare at a screen that says "Your Program will return shortly". They are just going to fill in that space with ads... nbd.
