Discus and support ESPN and Netflix apps are constantly dimming in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; While watching various apps, including ESPN and Netflix, my Xbox One S will dim the screen approximately every ten minutes or so.     ESPN and Netflix apps are constantly dimming


    While watching various apps, including ESPN and Netflix, my Xbox One S will dim the screen approximately every ten minutes or so. I have to hit some button on the controller to light the screen back up. Please help!

    WHICH APPS are available on Xbox 360 without gold

    Most of the video streaming apps like hulu and netflix dont require gold same with espn and the nfl channels

    We recommend
    power cycling     your Xbox One, then manually unplugging the power cable to the Xbox One for ~30 seconds, and plugging it back in. After attempting those steps, please let us know if you're still seeing the dimming issue.

    I'm having the same issue and it is quite a pain. When I am watching Netflix, Crunchyroll, or streaming from my computer the screen constantly dims and its killer on my controller batteries.

    I am having a similar issue on my Xbox One S connected directly to my Samsung JS8500 tv. When I open the netflix app the screen becomes very dim and the screen doesn't return to normal until the app is quit. HDR content looks great using the Netflix app
    on my TV by the way, not dim at all.
