I guess your right. I could fight for the Queen then. A Breton huh? They just look like the English and never did excite me much. I guess i could be an Orc. Daggerfall? Evil Breton assassin? I'd definately have to work on that character. Completely against
    my nature.

I'm almost lvl 30 on my AD Khajiit atm and I must say I have grown fond of Queen Ayrenn. She has changed my view of High Elves. I still find it hard to accept the Thalmor though but so far my experience on the AD has been enjoyable. I want to see all sides
of the story though and Daggerfall seems to be interesting and I have still yet to play it. I don't think I will be a Breton though. Maybe a Orc.

The Wood Elves have the most distinct British accent of all the races I have encountered in the game so far.

There does seem to be a lot of that accent in the game. Wonder why? I'll have to look up the Wood Elf thing. Not real familiar with them yet.

Played through all the AD zones now on PC and it was pretty good. I'm now in the veteran zones and have to play through the EP zones to reach VR10. I'm definitely going to want to play DC on console now because I would of seen every other zone. Even though
I don't entirely align myself with the DC ideals. I would recommend the AD to anyone though. Very enjoyable alliance to play with. The Khajiit are boss.

I'm still just wandering around exploring. Working on my Crafting skills. Earned enough to buy a horse and been sniping around in the Rift. Way over my level but I'm surviving enough to collect useful mats for my crafts. No run and gun for me and being the
loner I am, I have to be careful where I go. The world is very unforgiving. Still trying to take on a level 32 Wamasu all by myself. I've been told it should be easy but I haven't the proper skills for it yet. I see a lot of folks respawning at the wayshrines
and running off, only to return again in a minute or two. lol!

I've maxed out my Bow so it sure is a life saver when lvl 40's come after my 34 butt. A ton of fun and very satisfying when I take 2 or 3 of them out before I die.

Can't wait for X-Box One release.

  7. Hi, Angelus. I saw some complaints about the bow not being worth much at Veteran levels and wondered if it was just a matter of not developing it optimally. Folk always said magic in Skyrim was bad at end game and I proved to my own satisfaction that it
was workable. I like the bow and look forward to finally getting to play again. It appears the beta app for consoles is live so maybe it will be soon.

The veteran zones are quite tough. I'm a Templar tank and have maxed out health, armor, spell resist and health regen and still struggle at times. The key is to use stuns and snares on the bosses if your soloing in vet zones like I am.

As every thing I've noticed in this game, skill points are very important but are weak at best. I did some of my own experiments with three different level bows versus NPC's of three different levels. The obvious happens when the High power bow takes out
the low level critter with one shot. All 3 bows had Flame enchants and speed traits with one set having the damage trait. You don't get much improvement from enchants. The speed trait was a joke. The damage trait did better when lvl to lvl with critters. My
basic Bow skill is at 42 with all perks taken and some have 2 tiers. I tried some things in Riften. A level 40+ area and did some decent damage against bad guys. Couldn't quite handle 3 on one but made it thru with 2 bad guys okay. I'm level 34 now.

I don't think it is the weapon as much as it is the user and the distribution of skill points. My plain jane Bow did nothing against anything. Plain Bow level 10 no traits no enchants. Sad against anything that was level 10. The same Bow with damage trait
no enchant did better but not much. Very small percentage more. Then when I enchanted with flames, same Bow, it started to make significant difference and for the right level player became useable. The same went for all my testing and I now carry the highest,
speediest, flame enchanted bow I can. Very successful with critters up to level 28 - 30 but still under powered with anything higher. I die a lot when I get caught by level 38's or higher and especially when they group up on me.

The Sniping skill is fun and I use it a lot. Two bad guys don't stand a chance. Three or more and I usually loose. I'm talking about NPC's of much higher level. 38 or above. So it's nothing to complain about really. They have warned us that some NPC's are
immune to some types of attacks.

This is the build I'm rolling with
    http://esocalc.com/#1-7d007202504d:13:141:13:16:14:13:113:14:153:11:14:13:127:117:11:211:21:21:21:228:21:21:21:31:234:23:21:21:22:24:21:387:31:149:11:16:271:124:118:633:35:62:913:39-3:135:138:419:412:57:47:138:77:73:514:44

Great AoE tanking build and once Craglorn drops I can use my off spec to play a support/off healer role. Templars atm are strong but I'm sure they will be changing the classes up all the time. At the moment I have heard Nightblades aren't fairing to well
at all and most of them are playing ranged dps.

Oh! I forgot to mention my inept skill with some dungeon bosses. With a 5 level advantage I still can't seem to figure some of them out. The battle devs need to fix some of this stuff. In time it's going to be a real problem. You get too close or in just
the right spot and nothing happens. You do no damage and the bad guys, from across the dungeon and around the corner can kill you with an invisible something. Some folks are calling it lag but I think it's just poor mechanics to the battle engine. It's obvious
ther is no line of sight and our distance is way to far away to do anything but, the bad guy can hit you from any direction and at any distance. Even while hiding behind a pillar or wall. It's sad for me.

But those add-ons won't be available on the consoles, will they? I guess it won't matter though. When I read the wiki article about the goldsellers it said they are mostly Asians in internet cafes who make their living farming gold. That wouldn't work as
well on the console I don't suppose.
