ESO: What race and alliance are you playing for?

It did say that. I just did mine last night. Just clicked the launcher and it went through quite a bit. One of the tabs on the right said the server will be off till Friday though.

 

I loaded the patch this morning and afterwards it said PLAY so I clicked and it found my account, which made me happy since it lost me somehow earlier this week, but then said I can't play until Friday.

 

I will be a Redguard once ESO comes out on Xbox One. Leaning toward the Daggerfell alliance.

I'm getting discouraged by the lack of news on the console front. I wish they would say something and get turned in that direction before they start releasing more content.

 

It will be fine for consoles. The game will pull a crowd no matter what. I can see a lot of players coming over to consoles anyway because PC has an issue with goldsellers and botters at the moment. I have played EP in the beta, AD on PC so I will be playing
DF on Xbox. Not sure what class yet though. Got my Xbox One already waiting for it to drop.

 

I was reading the discussions on the official forum and see there are many problems and many disgruntled players. Of course that was the case with Skyrim as well. I have a question. What is a goldseller? Why do people plant a bot near a boss to spam kills?
This thinking makes no sense to me. The whole loot-crazy attitude in games like Diablo III made no sense either.

 

So I googled it and have an answer but it still makes no sense to me. It seems totally counter-productive to having fun in a game. I do see some sense in gold farming in ESO based on prices in the beta but if prices were dropped there would be less need
for such practices.

 

They have spam filter add-on you can download now so they don't ruin your gaming experience. So far I am liking it. Just have to keep it updated and it's all good.

 

Let us know what you think of Craglorn. Maybe after that drops they'll finally get around to doing a beta on the consoles. I mean, they're running out of time if there are any real problems. I'm going to be bummed if the launch date slips a lot. I don't
want to wait for Christmas.

But those add-ons won't be available on the consoles, will they? I guess it won't matter though. When I read the wiki article about the goldsellers it said they are mostly Asians in internet cafes who make their living farming gold. That wouldn't work as
well on the console I don't suppose.

 

I was originally planning a breton for the daggerfall but I think ill do a high elf for the dominion

 

As always I'll start out as a Nord with the Ebonheart pact.

I'm thinking now to maybe starting my second character with a totally separate faction. Have not decided yet. Maybe do my evil character as Aldmieri Dominion.

 

But, Angelus, the Aldmeri Dominion is not evil at this time and Queen Ayrenn is quite noble. From my reading of the lore and play in the beta I think the place to be evil is in the Daggerfall Covenant. Those are not nice people and you would fit right in
as an evil Breton assassin or a Redguard enforcer. But you should play in the Dominion because Kaz is great (or was in the beta…darn I wish this game would get itself to a console near me).

I, of course, will be a morally ambiguous elf with good intentions and maybe later a Breton insurrectionist determined to prevent the Covenant from spreading their evil through Tamriel.

Now I think on it, that would still be a good story for The Elder Scrolls 6. I wanted them to go to the Summerset Isles last time instead of Skyrim; but now, it would be a good time to go. In ESO we find out that the Dominion had good and noble intentions
(okay, maybe a bit arrogant but they are elves) so it would be good to find out how and when it got twisted. There are some sizable chunks of time with little written lore.
