ESO purchase with MS credit

Anybody have any luck buying with MS credit?

I have almost enough credit on my account but could not purchase. I tried and it kept declining my credit card on file for the rest. I had purchased this way before with my card covering the remainder of what I needed. My wife did a chat with them and the
CS rep said to select the credit card first and then it would ask her if she wants to use that credit but would not charge. Well, it immediately charged. The CS rep did say they would refund. So currently the game only has an install option.

Now I am just wondering if the game will revert back to the option to purchase. So can anyone chime in on that as well? I would like to purchase the game digitally if I can use my credit at some point.

Refunded purchase, still own

Here is the deal. I wanted to purchase ESO. I was going to play this with my son and have MS credit. Would not accept my credit cards for the remainder. I was sure I had split like this before so a chat with a CS rep was the option. After some time
the CS rep said to select the CC first and then select confirm and said that the option of using the credit would come up. It did not. It charged immediately and went to downloading the game. So the CS rep did a refund. This is for the game and not the
ESO Plus subscription.

Now I want to play the game. And I would purchase. But in the Xbox Store it says I have already purchased. So I cannot purchase again. Will the game always be like that?

ESO plus crowns, extras not showing up after subscription purchase. is this a known isue? contacted Bethesda support and got kicked back to MS for them to deal with.

 

I had a issue where my address and zip code on my account did not match that of my current residence. so it declined my card cause my billing info was wrong. double check all your account info.

 

also I bought Call of duty 4 with MS money.. if that's what you mean by credits.... before they when to cash or $ prices. I had to get a refund. which i did. but Microsoft has no way of telling what you spend xbox currency on, only that you got 20$ worth
of xbox money or what ever...

Which is confusing cause i got a new xbox and changed my game tag and half my digital purchases where gone! when i called they told me they kept track of the Microsoft money i purchased but not the purchases i made with that money.

Checked, it is correct. And the card worked. The CS re[ had my wife select the credit card first and said that the option to use the MS credit on my account would come up. Instead it just charged the credit card which I did not really want.

The CS rep said that ESO online could not be purchased with MS credit. I had read that ESO Premium could not be purchased with credit because it was a subscription thing. But I have not seen anything about the game itself not being able to be purchased
with the MS credit.

Anyway, the CS rep said they would refund. But the game is still showing on my account. I was going to put $10 credit on there so I would have the full amount without the card and see if the issue was with splitting the amount with almost $60 coming from
my account balance and the little remaining going on my card. Basically making it so that all of the cost could come from my MS credit on my account with no credit card involved. Currently will not be able to do that. No really sure how long the game will
remain on my account either. Was looking forward to playing the game with my son while we both had time.

 

WarCrysis1, I see what you are saying in you second post there. I guess it is possible that they could have that issue here. I am just going to give it some time and see.
