    ESO Plus and Gameshare issues


    Hoping somebody can help with an answer, as I haven't been able to find one yet through searching.

    Here's the deal, my girlfriend subscribes to Gamepass Ultimate. We both set the other's console to be our "home console", so that we can share memberships and game libraries.

    Now that we're playing ESO we wanted to try a month of ESO Plus. I bought my one month subscription first, but when my lady went to try, it only shows her "manage subscriptions". When she goes there, it only shows her Gamepass sub.

    So, for the time being, she is unable to subscribe to ESO Plus. Can anyone shine some light on this enigma? We'd really like to tackle some DLC stuff together, but don't want to invest a ton to buy it outright.

    I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough, I thought I was fairly detailed. However, I know that my girlfriend needs to buy her own ESO Plus subscription. When she tries to do that, all she sees is "manage subscriptions" on the Xbox marketplace. She does not have the option to subscribe.

    DLC is not shareable on some titles like this and Call of Duty.

    Sharing home Xbox outside of your immediate household is a violation of TOS and can lead to account and console bans

    The website says "PC/MAC Only", which leads me to believe that you must purchase ESO Plus through the Xbox store for the Xbox version of the game, but it could just be misleading marketing I suppose.

    I was hoping to be able to find a resolution for her, otherwise she'll likely need to reach out to Microsoft support since it's her account not letting her purchase the subscription. Didn't want her to go through that rigamarole if possible 😞

    UPDATE: I contacted Microsoft Support and the agent I got was incredibly helpful. They guessed it was a glitch due to the gamesharing and they were able to purchase the subscription on my GF's behalf from their side.

    Problem is now fixed. Thank you all for your replies! Maybe this will be some useful info for future posts.
