ESO on consoles officially delayed

I would likely start over anyway and just use the 6 months as a testing ground to learn the ropes and how everything works. I'm not even all that worried about losing a name or having to join a new guild. I collect possible names in a book so I'm not caught
flat footed when ask for one. I don't know how guilds work and don't care about achievements and trophies; after all, if that is a fresh start then you'll get them again anyway.

I haven't looked at the TESO forums today; are they still raging about the unfair advantage that transfers will have? Yesterday they were all "I'm not going to get the console if people can transfer in their high level alts and kill me". Most of them are
pc players and think the console for an MMO will fail. I'm sure many are happy they don't have to buy it twice.

 

It is very disappointing. I purchased the XB1 four days ago exclusively for this game, I'm actually considering taking it back with the hope that it will be cheaper in December!!! Hell, I might just switch to PS4.

 

It would be a nice treat if they still released the game in June.

 

Take it back.Save your money until the console is cheaper and has some games.

 

My plain vanilla ESO for Mac arrived this morning. I haven't even peeled back the shrink wrap. On the front, though, it says it includes the explorer pack so I assume I got one of the pre-orders than didn't sell. maybe that's why Amazon put them on sale?
I would venture a guess that most of the pre-orders were for the Imperial edition. I think I will miss the horse. Now I need to set up a rolling table near the recliner since I will need to settle in for the long haul to Christmas.

 

I too got the explorer pack, it's not all that...I might get the imperial edition, it's only $20 for the upgrade. It's definitely different than any other ES game I've ever played. Takes awhile to get used to...

 

Yea the Imperial Edition can just be upgraded to your account electronically on the Zenimax website. I'm not going to worry about it now I have my black horse though. Feel free to add me to friends @ I'm a vr4 AD Khajiit Templar and I will be willing

I'm sitting here waiting for support to call. I got everything installed and downloaded and it doesn't recognize my password not even after I changed it. Did you have to uninstall the beta? Could that be an issue? I wish it were Christmas. I cut cut to the
chase on the game and skip summer besides.

 

That sucks. I had to redownload everything because after the beta ended I initially had no intention of playing PC.

 

I asked for a phone call and was called back pretty quickly. It turned out I had missed the place I needed to enter my code but a very pleasant young man took all the codes and put them in himself and waited until I got all the way to the character creation
screen. I can't complain at all about the customer support. Of course after I played for a couple of hours and apparently remembered nothing about the beta I was disgusted with myself because I kept dying. I would hide behind other players and hope I could
avoid the skeletons in the temple. I need to readjust, I guess.

I have a question. I now have two pets, the monkey from the beta and the scutler from the explorer pack but have no idea how to access them. I can see the treasure maps but how do I summon the pets? I'm not really sure I want them but I would like to know
how to get them if I do.

 

I just had the monkey pet mailed to me as an attachment in the in game mail and clicked on it in my inventory to summon him. He has been my companion for my entire journey so far. Sometimes he goes missing but he comes back

The should have delayed the PC version as well, it's scattered with glitches...

 

Only reason Iwont cancel is because I have a physical imperial edition pre-order.

 

The biggest appeal to me was that console players would be able to have their own servers & everyone would start on launch day at level 1 & progress from there. This will immediately throw the balance towards V ranked players & those of us that waited will
forever be in the shadows of those that ported from pc.

I dont mind the delay of 6 months. If it means a more refined, less glitchy game, I’m all for it. If PVE grouping & questing works for the console release, GREAT! I’m just dissapointed that all this will be is true console players buying a game 8 months
after release.

I was really looking forward to the first major MMO for a console. Now I will put this on my list of games I’ll get after I’ve played Destiny, Diablo 3, & The Division.
