    Quick-Strike Death Dealer

"If you prefer the all-out assault style of a quick-strike death dealer Nightblade build, then you will want to focus on the Assassination and Siphoning skill trees. The assassination skill tree offers abilities like haste, which allows you to explode with
a flurry of blows for an extended period of time. The Siphoning skill tree will let you use vampire-like abilities to keep using assassination skills. Quick-strike death dealers should don a full set of medium armor for solid protection, set bonuses and stamina
bonuses. In order to maximize his damage per second, he should wield two daggers or short swords".

That's me right there. Quick strike death dealer ESO group content :)

You were right on there. I like the way you were using some of those skills. I'm going to change up a bit, but continue my present build. As a Nord but I will divert more points to my Assassin tree for that Siphoning effect. I'm not at all happy that my
Passive skills are tuned to a big sword though. They could have made us just swords. Any kind. I'm thinking that by the time it reaches the X-Box I'll have something more refined to work towards. Not going to forget the tanking abilities either.

  5. Geddy, back to pets in Torchlight, the Vanquisher, which is the girl character, gets a Lynx. I sometimes feed it a fish to change its form but mostly I give it two good spells and let it rip. My current Vanquisher is named Ravyn and her Lynx is named Kaat.
hehe The Arcanist is a guy and gets a kind of dragon. I never play the big bruiser but he gets a wolf. There are different pets on the mac, I think but I got it on the 360.

I made my Dunmer a Templar and my Altmer a sorcerer. I haven't quite got a feel for the the skill trees yet. If I make another Bosmer she would probably be a Nightblade. The superfast, in your face, dual weiler is what I played in KoA Reckoning but only
because it is the only game I have ever been able to do that in effectively.

That's very cool LadyB, my girls want to get a pet Bobcat. There are breeders and they are expensive. Oddly enough I'm not that keen on having a small lion in the house. Well all cats think they are Lions anyway don't they? The game might be why they want
one. I'm going to go ask them right now.

  7. I can understand that. I still vividly remember meeting a lion cub when I was about 9. A friend of my Daddy had one and brought it when he was visiting near where we lived. His car inside looked like he transported a big cat. When we did graphics for the
zoo we made friends with the head animal curator and he introduced us to their two jaguar youngsters. I loved working at the zoo.

Cats, especially big cats, have always captured my imagination & respect. Nothing on this planet is as efficient/capable at everything they do, as the big cats. Jaguars, I'm impressed, they are something else! I imagine they were rambunctious?

Like you I met a wild cat, a "domesticated" male tiger in India named Tâkaat (Hindi for vigor) when I was younger. I know that domestically raised big cats are not domesticated and still wild, if not free. However I could not resist meeting that fellow face
to face, such power and grace, he was a BIG boy. I would do it again with no hesitation, alas he has moved on. LadyB, you know the feeling I believe.

  9. There were two from different mothers so the girl was about 5 months and the boy was about four and smaller. We went behind the cages and they ran up to us. The bigger girl raised up with her (huge) paws on my shoulders and grinned in my face. She nearly
knocked me over. We sat down immediately and I let my (much larger) husband play with her while I let the little one gnaw and fight with my pants leg. They were hand reared and controllable. The zoo usually put the baby cats into their own cage when about
six. This was before Audubon had all their expansion finished and the cats were still in cages. We were graphics designers working on their signs and displays but my husband did photography for them when needed. There were funny times then.

Sorry for that off topic digression if anyone reading this cares. About ESO, has anyone any idea when the next might be. There isn't a lot of time before the release. Following the schedule from february I thought maybe invites would go out on the 18th.
I need one more fix before June. I swear to you, I have become tempted by a plain vanilla Mac edition. I'm pathetic, the real world is never as good as the one in my imagination and I adore games like Elder Scrolls where I can...alright, I can say it…escape
    from reality.

A thought, has anyone heard whether we can transfer a character from a PC to a console? There are times I really wish I could change a character's name as well as appearance so to avoid the very early game which can get repetitive and boring though those
early leveling steps are important a character in Skyrim really can't be let out without a leash until at least level 15 and 20 is better.

I tried to ask that question and no one has answered. Transfer from PC to Console so I'm taking it as a no. Seems I read something about our characters being bound to a server. That I can understand but I would like to be able to transfer also.

I read in the comments on the original vid Chem posted, three weeks ago probably, that no, you couldn't have a multi-platform character. I believe the person who asked wanted to use his character from the Beta on his Xbox1 when the game releases. Not that
an anonymous comment on YT should be taken as gospel, but it does seem unlikely.

Off topic again, that Tiger rolled me pretty good LadyB. He was 5 years old and they said he weighed about 600 lbs. He put his paws on either of my shoulders and I folded like a house of cards, I am almost 6'2" and at that time I was about 230 lbs. One of
my vivid memories was him licking my face (wife said he was tasting me... lol). Most people know what a cat's tongue feels like when they lick you, now imagine that tongue is the size of a paper plate with much more pronounced "bristles".

Cats... deep down in their souls they are all still wild.

  12. I wondered. It was possible to migrate a character between servers in LOTRO, but it wasn't encouraged and the servers were smaller. It was possible in the free game to have 2 characters on each server but I'm sure the need arose when a player makes friends
or wants to join a guild on a different server but doesn't want to lose a high level character.

Not sure how they will do now. They had different invites for Consoles and PC's. I used the same key every time I went back. They just reminded me of the time and date and suggested I update the launcher before getting on. My account was specific to PC.
I have not yet requested one for the console because I'm not going to get my console until late June or early July. I might try to talk my wife into getting it for me sooner but I doubt she will. So you might try to put in a request for console beta now just
    to see what they say.

Angelus, I will have to pay more attention next beta and see how the loot divvies up with more than one random attacker because it seemed to me that only the player who got the kill got any loot. I didn't group so i don't know how that works. I had enough
to pay attention to to try and figure out chat as well. Too many keys! I wonder how they will simplify it for the controllers?

Speaking of betas, when the next one rolls out will they send another invite with a new key or do they just reinvite previous testers and we would log in under the previous account/key?

All the people turned loose in these weekend betas are to get as many bugs to come to light as possible and test the servers under load? Once it releases, you should be able to have a more private experience, at least up to a certain point in the
game progress... am I on the right path here?
Well there were quite a few people on the beta forums quite quick to point out that Zenimax were mainly using this beta as a stress test. They had a test server up at the same time for 'content testers'. The same was true for the beta beforehand. The thing
that is going to really set this mmo apart from a lot of others in the past is the amount of systems it will be available on. Having an mmo available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC/Mac is new and I don't think anyone is exactly sure how it will work out.
