ESO Disabled visual phase (night)

I have been trying for a while to write on Elder Scrolls Online Forum, but the site failed to recognise my log in details. I created a second account in case of a glitch, still wouldn't let me log on to forum. Created a 3rd account, still did not recognise
it. I am sooo annoyed with xbox, internet and quality of customer service. Companies are happy now to let the uneducated public customers help other customers..blind leading the blind..... Perfect business model!

Well I spent time writing this so I'll post it here, and probably completely abandon ESO now. ESO is rubbish and I have huge buyers remorse. Anyway, here was my post before I lost it.

Im very new to ESO, been playing for about a week. The story, most mechanics are good but I am finding what could be a deal breaker. It’s DARK! What is it with DARK???

I love ESO during the phase were visuals are not disabled (no dark appearance).

In the disabled visual phase or what has a dark appearance, it does not change the agro’ing distance from the normal visual phase, or day. The game play does not change one little bit between day or night, the night is purely a “visual disable phase.

I have an expensive 4k tv with millions of colours that displays xbox one games fantastic.

Fallout 4, Skyrim, older Red Dead Redemption all have features to pass through the night phase quickly and easily. Perfect.

Dragon Dogma 2 (xbox 360), no night advancing feature. Great game, but abandon on about lvl 20…I cant have a game dictating when I can play, after all people have to work to pay for real life….

I know I’ll get hailed down here, but until Aussie rules footy, Baseball or Super Bowl dim the lights for players to add to the experience Im not going to play games that have a visual disable phase. There is no gaming advantage for a night phase.

Very disappointed as this really had the grunt to tear me from wow and make ESO my new hobby.

Have a disable “night phase” feature, so people who want to run around in beautiful country side can!

In real life, our one sun system is unusual. A lot of star systems are binary star systems so night on plants there would be rare.

The agro’ing distance in the visual disable phase is still the same distance as daytime! . The game play does not change one little bit between day or night, the night is purely a “visual disable phase.

It’s a fantasy game, why have a visually impairing phase!

I'm out of the MMORPG phase. I played World of Warcraft for over six years and was excited to try NeverWinter on the Xbox One but got burnt out on the MMORPG formula rather quickly. I'll pass on ESO.

It does not come with any advanced audio/visual cables, as far as i know you can transfer your data, if you plug in an ethernet cable the wifi is automatically disabled, so yes you can use an ethernet cable...

Let's give the Xbox One a year gents. A year for Devs to get used to it. If after that it still can't handle 1080p native, then we will be able to say, okay, it botched it's visuals in the design phase. Oh well, the games are still great, and it's still

First check if windows 10 is up to date. Make sure your time and date are correct on your windows settings.

There is an "Optional Updates" button in the smallest print. Kindly check and go to driver, and download the existing drivers needed. Then restart, plug in the Receiver. Go to the same optional updates, and updated the driver.

Make sure that this is turned on "Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows" under Advanced Options

Check for store updates: Start menu, select Microsoft Store > More > Downloads and updates > Get updates.

If Updating the system doesn't help, I'll suggest you run a scan to check for problems and repair them.

Press Windows + R, type cmd, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run Command Prompt as administrator. Next type sfc /scannow in Command Prompt window, and press Enter to start to scan and repair corrupt system files in Windows 10.

Could you try disabling any visual enhancement settings on your TV? by visual enhancement settings, I'm referring to settings such as HDR, Game mode, Dolby vision, etc. Some TVs have an option to reset all video settings to default.
