ESO Crown Pricing, why do we have to pay more for them than those on a PC.

I find the pricing for in game currency for those of us who play this on the Xbox one a complete rip off. I have a gold membership and so already pay for the upkeep of the network.

So why am I being forced to pay for the 5500 Crowns almost 30% more for the same thing compared to the PC version.

Xbox £31.99 - PlayStation £31.99 - PC £23.99. Why are we being forced to pay this extra, especially as it for in game purchases with no extra benefits coming from the extra pricing.

I find this even more distasteful when buy on one platform , play on both is being bandied about by Xbox, so how will this work if ESO is involved, will Xbox be forced to lower their price or will they to try to force the game developers to increase the
PC prices.

I am now looking at maybe buying the steam version and link, as the extra £8.00 a time will soon pay for the link.

A probably dumb question

I have heard that crowns cost more on Xbox than they do on PS or in the Zenimax Crown store but that we must buy crowns from XBox if we want them. My question is where do I find the Xbox ESO store to know how much they actually do cost? I can access the
store from the game but that just gives me a choice of how many crowns to buy without a dollar equivalent. Besides, I was on the EU server and don't want to pay currency conversion when it is not needed. Is the store anywhere online outside of the game itself?
Am I being dumb?

 

ESO plus.

I've been hearing this more and more lately, check if you do have the ESO Plus boon active when you are on a character.

Other than that, all i can advice for now is to contact Xbox Support directly, and ask them when you will receive your crowns that are part of the ESO Plus subscription you have with them.

For me it gave me my 1500 Crowns on the 9th of July, so exactly 1 month after i started the ESO Plus subscription. But i received an email about the renewal one week before the 9th of July, so it could be that your crowns are due on another date.

 

That is a complaint you would want to take up with Bethesda or Zenimax. Those are the companies that set up the prices for the in-game currency. Microsoft has no control over how devs/publishers price their products.
