    Okay to start off this isn't my primary account, this is a second account i created to post this in hope of some faster help. I will do my best to try to contain my frustration but I am so fed up right now.

    The Story:

    So last night I finally decided to purchase the Xbox One, I got the Limited Forza edition. After getting home and getting everything all setup, I learn that my account password doesn't work (Strange). After calling support I was instructed through the process
    of resetting my password. However after I finished doing so, I didn't get an account recovery email.(Again another red flag to me) After some time i figured out how to check my backup info, turns out it has been changed to a backup email and phone I not only
    do not possess, but am completely unfamiliar with. (Assuming I was hacked at this point) After I called and explained the situation I was instructed to go back on my Xbox 360, so that I could change something on my account. However now my gamertag is unable
    to connect to Xbox Live, other accounts can just not mine. I was told that it was corrupted. My information was sent into the Xbox Escalation team, so I decided to just call it a night and go to sleep. Here I am now 24 hrs later with no call, no email or anything.
    I found out that it takes 1-3 business days to get a call. Wasn't too happy about that, but i figured "Whatever I'll just play Forza for the next 3 days offline" However it turns out I can't play Forza,I must download the game onto a profile, and if I create
    a new profile to play it, I wont be able to play the game on my main account. So now I am stuck waiting for another possible 48 hours (after reading some other posts im fearing it could be longer) before I can do ANYTHING on my Xbox One. I legitimately just
    spent $500+ dollars on a paperweight that makes a revving noise when I turn it on. I am beyond frustrated that it could take me several more days before I can even try to use the system, because my email information has been changed. What is worse is that
    now I can not even use my profile on my Xbox 360 either. Is there any other way whatsoever to go through this other than waiting? I am starting to think there isn't after a few phone calls to Microsoft, but I am hoping someone here can possibly provide some
    glimmer of hope. I am extremely close to returning the system altogether because of the frustration this has caused me from the 3 hours spent on the phone with Microsoft just to be told that I have no guarantee on getting my account back, and it could be a
    long time before I even get told that.

    There is not any other options if the support team has escalated it up to the escalations team. only other option is to continue to try and fill out the account recovery form at account.live.com/acsr and try and get as many answers correct as possible.

    cannot accept terms and conditions no matter what :/

    Did you ever go through an escalation? That's the plan B if the recovery site doesn't work.

    Thank you for your response.

    If it's not possible to proceed with the account recovery webform, nothing to worry, there is still a way for you to recover your hacked account.

    You will need to contact Microsoft Xbox support as they have the tools to escalate your case to the Account Escalation Team for an account recovery.

    We do not have tools here to use for an account escalation since we are independent advisors but no worries, I will directly reroute you to Microsoft Xbox support.

    There is no "escalation team" here. This is a public community forum used mainly by other gamers such as yourself. Account recoveries cannot be done on the forums. Only phone support are the ones who can assist with account recoveries. You will need to
    continue working with them.

    Microsoft account, restore password

    if you went online to account.live.com/acsr and filled out the form there and received an email from microsofts account recovery team saying you have not provided them with enough information then you can contact xbox support and they would be able to escalate
    the account recovery up to their escalations team AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A XBOX CONSOLE THAT THE ACCOUNT YOU ARE TRYING TO RECOVER HAS BEEN ON BEFORE this is important because if you do not then there is nothing that can be done except to try and fill that form
    out with anymore information that you can remember.
