Errors with all Xbox Live interactions - Started with a download.

About a week ago, I tried downloading a game on an Xbox 360. Those is not the first time I've downloaded games, but the first time it had an issue.

The first time I tried to download it, it hung at 0%. I cancelled it after an hour or so and restarted the download. Once again it hung. I tried again later and started getting errors. The first few times, I got a 80072741 on attempting to download it
from download history. That's when things got odd. I started getting that error elsewhere when interacting with Xbox Live. I looked up troubleshooting steps, and I did the following:

removed all user profiles
powered the unit off
unplugged it from the wall
plugged it in again
powered up the unit

downloaded the profile again

Once I signed in again, I tried the download again and started getting other errors including:

It also made me sign in every time with my password. It would get stuck at the "click here to remember the password page". I was able to get it to stick when I re-downloaded my profile. With all of the errors I tried a few things, including Xbox live network
connection tests which all succeeded. Finally, I formatted the hard drive to reset it to factory settings. Unfortunately, it didn't even help and the same issues happened, if not worse.

This has never been a problem before the download, so I'm doubtful that it could be my network, but it should be fine, since I've never had issues with it. I also checked the router logs and it shows successful traffic to Xbox live domains.

Something I'm still working on trying is to download another game, but I don't expect that to help, because there are so many other errors unrelated to downloads at this point.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing these issues, I understand this can be frustrating.

With the error codes, you’ve mentioned seems like you have tried all the solutions for each one, from the xbox error codes page. If these troubleshooting steps don’t help, I can only suggest to contact
support.

1 start up exo zombies and get error message downloadable content has been removed or all profiles signed out

2 sign out of your profile that has xbox live 3 create new profile (do not sign up for live)

4 start up exo zombies with the new profile that does not have xbox live (you should get the cinematic and brightness/screen adjustment)

5 in the exo zombies menu select xbox live and you should be forced to sign in again select your profile that has xbox live

Yep, I've tried all of these steps. On the day I started getting a blackscreen, I've figured out that same workaround with no logging into a profile until a game or app was started. It worked until yesterday. Now I just cannot log into any XBox Live
profile at all at any point.

I get different errors depending on the time of day. Sometimes it tells me my network is down (which is demonstrably not true). Sometimes it tells me that some functions of XBox Live won't work, try again later. When I try to import a profile, it sometimes
let's me get to the password and sometimes errors out earlier. I've seen the "cannot download profile, try again later" error as well.. Don't have the error codes handy right now, but they are different at different times for the same operation. And
all have to do with the XBox Live connection.
