    Errors 0x80070490 when installing games


    Games stopped to launch with "can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected" and after trying to reinstall there is error 0x80070490. What I can see those games are still present in the WindowsApp directory.

    The problem is present only with games that were already installed previously. New games are installed without a problem.

    Today another error occurred. When trying to install games on a partition on which i previously installed games there is a text "This Location Isn't Set Up For Installing Games" when I try to change the target location for apps I get 0x080070005 error.

    About the last changes on my PC, I can think only that I enlarged partition size, on which I install games. I have small SSD for system and HDD with two partitions. First for games/apps and second for documents.

    Nevertheless I did this with my computer, when the trouble began.

    Storage settings also gave me some 0x errors.

    But I found an answer. I changed partition back to the previous size. And everything is working. I still have problem with disk space, but at least game is working.

    Probabily that changed someaway the how the partition was configured.

    Did you tried to change your Apps directory from Windows10 Settings?

    Just open Windows 10 Settings and search "Storage Settings". In that page, roll down an search for a option that says something like this: "Change where is saved new content" and then change the directory in "New Apps will be saved in:" and change the drive.
    Just give it a try and let us know if this helped your issue.

    Have you tried powercycling your console by holding down it's powerbutton for 10 seconds?
