    Im having this issue for 2 days now to play modern warefare. it says i need a update for it but it says i cant get it at the moment. i reset console and kept games and apps last night and installed it again. when i tried to play it it still needs it.

    are you connect to Xbox live servers?

    though you may be connect to the WiFi it may not have connect to Xbox live

    Are you able to update the console?

    have you tried power cycling the Xbox

    To do this you will need to press and hold the Xbox button for around 10 seconds or until the lights stops flashing.

    Then once it is turned off remove the power cable from the Xbox and wait for 1 minute.

    After youve waited for a minute plug the console back in and power it back on

    Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

    Settings.

    Select Network Settings.

    Select Advanced Settings.

    Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

    Select Clear.

    Allow the console to restart when prompted.
