    I'm trying to reedem a code to get RE 4, I tried the Xbox and Xbox Live Website and appears the message ''something went wrong'' followed by th erros appears ''XBOS1005'' (Sorry for the bad english)

    DangerDream; everything that I can find on error code XBOS1005 would seem to indicate a region issue. Where did you get your code from? Possible causes for this:

    1. Your region (country) is not set for the same region that you physically live in

    2. You purchased the code for a different region than your gamertag is set for.

    3. You have a billing suspension on your account that could be preventing you from adding this

    4. Your billing info does not match your gamertag and/or physical region.

    The code was purchased on United States but I live in Costa Rica, what can I do?

    Sadly, Costa Rica isn't an Xbox Live supported country (www.xbox.com/.../countries), so there isn't a specific region to change to. You could try contacting official support (get your closest
    contact number using this:
    support.xbox.com/contact-us    ) and see if they can help you to substitute a different region's version of the game.

    Live in Japan, can't redeem game codes.

    It is definitely a regional issue, and these are all 360 games. Specifically, Fallout 3, Dark Souls and Gears of War 2. Here is the error message though, all of them got the XBOS1005 error code.

    Sorry to hear it. The code you've listed suggests a region issue. If you are trying to redeem a code then odds are it's for a different region (country) than where you are located.
