Error X:5805.0 B:1884.0 - Trying to play PGR2 on the 360

For some reason no matter what I try this game just will not work on my Xbox 360, despite it being listed as compatible here: Games : Top Issues

- I just updated my Xbox this morning via memory stick, still no luck

- The game is not a copy, but an original as far as I know

- I have an official hard drive

Does anyone know why this may be? My console is 100% stock, not messed with in any way. It should work. Maybe it's the game itself? I bought it off eBay so it could maybe be a copy perhaps?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are using a legitimate Microsoft Xbox 360 HDD, have the most recent console update, and are still encountering this error, that means that the update is no longer available.

x-men legends wont play on elite 360 x-box error code, x: 5829.0 b: 1884.0 any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Forgot to mention I also cleared my system cache too which had no effect

 

Before anyone plays the "Your Hard Drive blah blah", the Xbox throws out a different error code if that was the case. If you're logged into Live, make sure that there's no save data related to said game on your HDD. If there isn't, try to only have your
controller and your HDD on your console, so no other accessories. If it still doesn't work, there could be something wrong with the disc preventing it from playing.

 

Thanks for your help. I'm not connected to live as there's no internet connection where I now have my Xbox set up.

A couple questions to help us narrow this down:

• What region is your account set to?
• What is your physical location?
• When do you get that error code, when you try to launch the game?

 

My account is set to United Kingdom which is also my physical location.

The error code appears when I launch the game yes.

 

I've now tried a second copy of the game and I still have the same issue

 

Still stuck with this, if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

No I don't own any others unfortunately. I bought this specifically to play on the 360 so it's disappointing that it doesn't work like it should

 

The only reason i ask is to make sure everything works the way it should with another game. If another one works then it would be some issue with that particular game. If other games don't work it would be a console or hard drive issue
