    Hi, I have a problem with my xbox live gold permissions and it is that despite having bought the xbox live gold it says that I do not have the permissions to play online. Please help!!!

    Can’t access online-HELP

    just purchased Xbox gold live. When trying to play Online I get an error saying my profile does not have permission to access online. Why??

    That does not sound like a suspension or ban. You normally get the permissions error if you do not have xbox live gold membership. Do you have Gold on your account??

    You need indeed an Xbox Live GOLD account and the parental permission ( if you are -18 years ).

    I'm having that same error now, so I'll continue the thread. It says "Your profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox Live functionalities".

    (Also I will ask this because I don't seem to find this anywhere else: Do I need to have an Xbox Live Gold membership to access the World Dance Floor?)

    You need to have Xbox Live Gold or this problem is related to permission of your parents If your account is a child account
