Error with the account in fortnite

Have you tried this exact step? Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

I do not have an X account so I am unable to see whether this issue has been resolved, my son's Fortnite account says this error, however, I can log in to their Fortnite account on my Xbox. Has there been any updates on a possible fix or when the issue will be resolved?

it also says an error occurred while connecting to Epic servers ive also took my account of and put it back on and uninstalled fortnite and installed

as far as I know the Xbox is connected to the account on my console. I’m trying to login on my phone through the fortnite website, with my Xbox/microsoft account and it keeps saying error.
