Error with signing into Xbox live on my computer

I am having a lot of trouble signing into the Xbox app, the Xbox game bar, and the Microsoft store on windows 10.

For the Xbox app and game bar, when I try to sign in it looks like it is loading for a second and then it present me with the heading We couldn’t sign you into Xbox live following the subtext; We can’t sign you in to Xbox Live right now. Try again in a while. If that doesn’t work, we have a few ideas that might help fix the problem. It does not present me with any kind of error code it just has three options: more info, try again, and switch account. More info does not give me more info, clicking try again doesn’t do anything, and trying to switch accounts brings me to a page to switch, but once I click any button on that page it brings me back to the page with the three options.

For the Microsoft store when I try to sign in nothing happens except for a split second of what looks like my computer trying to put a sign in page on my screen but it doesn’t show up.

I have already asked for help on this twice before but on both I stopped getting responses. Both of the times the support person told me to try updating windows first and that is what always does not work. I try to install all pending updates but it says couldn’t complete the changes.
